How to Organize a Teacher's Desk

As schools are back at school, teachers have a lot of paper to either ahnd-out, copy, grade, etc. We will try to keep them all organized over the summer year. Here are a few tips to get started:

  • Keep the desk looking clean and organized. You can have a pen holder with black, blue, and red inks. A Paper organizer for papers that are graded, not graded, or needs to be copied.
  • Throw out anything that is has not been in a couple of years. This will clear out the clutter that has been accumulated.
  • Organize the supply closet so it can be easy to find stuff for a class project. Such as: Keeping markers, crayons, and colored pencils in one area. Paper and Coloring Sheets together. Rulers, Compasses, and Protractors in one area.
  • Have a planner to schedule when to grade papers, return them, parent meeting, etc.

Tell us if you have anymore tips to share on how to keep a teacher organized.
